I have skills in many corsetry techniques including bonning, lacing, cording, eyelets and bias binding. As well as a particular love for the history of stays and corsets.

I made a 1640s corset with modern construction techniques, over 2 weeks. This included machine sewn boning channels, hand sewn eyelets, hand sewn ribbon and bias binding.

Over 2 weeks I made a 1890s corset. this involved sewing boning channels, cording, sewing in a metal bust, making bias tape, sewing in gussets and hand sewing decorative embroidery.

During a week long corsetry class I made a 1880s corset using dupion silk fabric in a modern colour way. This involved pattern drafting and alterations, metal boning and eyelets and cotton lacing.
